Services for Bands and Labels
We offer a stack of services to various players in the music industry, from bands to labels.
- Proofreading. We can act as your 'second pair of eyes'. This is a cheap way of ensuring error-free album covers and sleeves. Proofing albums and sleeves costs typically $20, depending on the extent.
- Editing. Give us your content and we will copyedit it. Rather than a proofread, which merely checks a proof against the original to make sure it's error-free, a copyedit comes earlier (pre-proof stage). It will often ensure that changes after proofing are unnecessary. Again, this is relatively cheap - about $50 depending on the extent.
- Editing or writing of web content. We can make sure your web-content is error-free, or we can help you to develop it. We can also work with your webdesigner/s to make sure that your site is always at a high standard. Contact us for prices.
- Editing and proofing of promo material. Flyers and posters can be proofed for as low as $20; for extensive material please contact us.
- Project management. If you don't want to handle the jobs of chasing artists, designers, printers, and editing; or you want to set up a MySpace page or your own website and don't know where to start - but you do have an idea of what you're after - we can coordinate the job for you. Contact us to discuss your job.
- Media writing. Everything from media releases, to web writing, reviews and interviews.

Important Disclosure: if you want us to review your material or interview you, we will do so in our capacity of writers for FasterLouder (unless agreed otherwise). This service is therefore FREE. If you want reviews or interviews for any other purpose, there will be a fee. Please note that if you want us to review your show, we will not provide biased reviews: it not only undermines our integrity, but it undermines yours too.
Our experience
Both of the proprietors of Brascoe Publishing have a lot of experience in working with bands in either a media capacity (interviews, reviews and so on), or in a visual capacity (primarily photography). They are contributors (writers/photographers) in the genre of extreme metal to Australia's largest online rock mag, FasterLouder. To see their past material click here and here.
